Our Lovely Board
Seniors
KELSEY PADILLA, iNtui-Name Pending #1
Fall Chair Kelsey is a senior majoring in English and Cinema Studies and she loves all things television! On a typical Saturday she can be found thinking about theatre, going on a bike ride, or maybe enjoying a little Kelsey snack (a freshly cut lemon with sugar sprinkled on it.) She’s a chatty little Kathy and she would be more than happy to talk about board or anything else with literally anyone who might be interested! |
WHITNEY BARRETT, iNtui-Thrust
Spring Chair Whitney is a senior from Westlake, Texas* (home of cows and an absurdly large firehouse for a town of 1,000) studying Cinema and Media Studies, Theatre Arts, and English. If her grammar is incorrect here it’s because English is only her minor. She is nervously writing this because her boss caught her on her phone writing iNtui-Thrust and now looks at her strangely. Oh well. *She is no longer from Westlake but now from an equally obscure Texas town |
MANYA JOHNSTON-RAMIREZ, iNtui-Pulse
Technical Director Manya is a senior studying history and political science from the culturally-rich Philadelphia suburbs. More of an abstract concept than a person, she can always be found with a cup of coffee in her hand and a song in her heart. She spends her days running around campus and thinking about what she her life would look like if she existed in different eras. Besides being passionate about alternative theater and tech, she is known for her strong opinions on politics, the media, the French aristocracy during the reign of Louis XIV, the nature of humanity, peanut butter, Silicon Valley, capitalism, gaff tape, nostalgia, and cowboys. Manya also runs an underground law firm and has a part-time job as one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. |
KASS HOUSTON, iNtui-Walks You Home
Social Chair Kass is super shell-shocked that she's a senior, but she is one! She's in the honors Psychology program in the College and the Benjamin Franklin Scholars, program, and she loves all things Cognitive Science. She's a dancer at heart, so you can also find her on the Penn Dance Company website. Kass enjoys long walks to Trader Joes, finding curly hair care products at CVS, big dangly earrings, and recently, kombucha (Pink Lady Apple stans only in this house) and candles. She's classically artsy in this sense. Since she's the Social Chair, she loves communicating and would be happy to chat with you about all things iNtuitons. (The double texting rule is a lie and a social construct.) |
Juniors
JEN LOCKE, iNtui-Judo Throw
Vice Chair So one thing that is very important to know about me is that while I’m asleep I think of really good and detailed ideas for things and then when I wake up I write it down so here is one of those: Movie Idea Anne in love with kenji Kenji in love with childhood friend who he lost contact with He doesn’t ask his parents about her because he’s too edgy In reality she died and his parents didn’t want to tell him until he wouldn’t be upset Royal anime His twin sister taking throne Anne is evil stoke his family’s things She wants him to be her partner in crime So anyways if anyone wants to dissect that or donate to my patreon hmu |
HANNAH CHAN, iNtui-Name Pending #5
Treasurer Hannah is a junior from San Francisco, California studying Finance and Marketing with a minor in Theatre Arts. A bonafide Californian, Hannah attended a French bilingual school growing up where her passion for experimental theatre first began. Now, when she isn’t fighting off the West Philadelphia mosquitoes in the summer, you can find her running through campus five minutes late to something. Her other passions in life include soup, sitting on nice patches of grass, square necklines, and notebooks. |
ASHLEY ROBINSON, iNtui-Name Pending #6
PAC/TAC-e Rep and Co-Webmaster Ashley is a junior from Philly (and more!) majoring in design and minoring in consumer psychology and jazz and popular music (help). You can usually find her watching Adobe Illustrator tutorials, eating Chipotle, or daydreaming about how she’ll decorate her future NYC apartment during the fall. While more words would offer a lovely view into the inner workings of her mind, she would instead like to share the titles of some of her countless Spotify playlists in order to express who she is as a person. -?????????? -musicals. what more could you need? -sis the anxiety is all in your head calm down -these would prob play in a modern day wild west saloon -living in a world where vine is still alive and i'm experiencing my first love -one day i'll be able to sing and when it comes, i'm singing these songs always |
Sophomores
NANCY ZHU, iNtui-Name Pending #7
PAC/TAC-e Rep and Secretary (Fall) Nancy is a sophomore from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia PA studying business and computer science. Nancy loves everything nature, art, and food. Yumm! When she isn’t hibernating as a couch potato, you can catch her at a local cafe sipping on a cup of black coffee trying to peek glances at you. No, she is not trying to stalk you but simply trying to capture some live references for her sketches so rest assure. If you ever want to get on her good side, show up with a bag of flaming hot lime Cheetos on hand. She will love you for life <3 Did I forget to mention that she recently became a mom... a doggie mom! So if you are ever in need of puppy love, feel free to hit her up! As she is writing this, she thinks it is kinda cool but kinda strange to be referring to herself in third person so she will digress now. |
JESS LIN, iNtui-Name Pending #8
Assistant Technical Director and Co-Webmaster Jess is a sophomore from Long Island, New York studying architecture and urban studies. She is passionate about using design to make positive change toward sustainability and social justice. Jess loves watching sunsets and being near any body of water. So naturally, her Patronus is a dolphin. She is also a proud Hufflepuff is you were wondering. Jess's newest quarantine hobby is making her own clothes while listening to music or audiobooks. She probably should've learned how to skate instead; she's owned a Penny board for three years and has made very minimal progress. Jess also likes to bike, journal, and paint in her free time. |
Cassie Hartmann, iNtui-Toe
Spring Secretary Cassie is a sophomore at UPenn... or is she?? It's up to you to find out. She could be anywhere, doing anything... Voted most likely to bungee jump by the iBoard. Take that with a grain of salt, since she was also voted fastest texter despite a tendency to ignore messages for weeks on end. Send a carrier pigeon to get in contact please. That's all. |
